Charity Cook Off

My goal was to document the cook off and give the family photos/memories of the event. I planned to take as many pictures as I could respectfully.  I arrived early and stayed late to get all elements of the event.  It was necessary for me to establish rapport with the guests to take more photos. I wanted to communicate the group effort to serve the underprivileged, the award/grandpa, and the empty plates of the grateful guests. I took all kinds of photos including some posed pictures for the family.  I had mixed messages about the comfort of my camera in the room so I was not able to take as many pictures as I would have liked but overall I am very happy with the project and the pictures I was able to take.
